So if you turn the front wheels to the left, for instance, you then have to apply right stick in order to straighten them out, rather than just releasing the spring loaded stick. I got thrown off by the steering till I realized that unlike every other driving game I've played, the steering is not self centering (which I'm sure is probably realistic to these vehicles). The cameras are OK and the controls decent. I finally got out by using my winches (you have fore and aft winches) to eventually extricate my truck and use a slight detour, since the ground you chew up stays chewed up through the mission. I was transporting some heavy logs and got really, really bogged down and the more I spun my tires the more the ground was dug up. The mud driving is fun and feels realistic. It's not an in-depth, cerebral game but it's more than just driving around in the mud, there are challenges and missions and things to do. I've done the tutorial and a couple of challenges. It shares this trait with the KHAN 39 Marshall, Chevrolet Apache, and TUZ 420 "Tatarin".I picked up this game on a mid-week Steam Sale (good till the 20th) and I have played about 70 minutes.
SPINTIRES CONTROLS MANUAL
Very useful for manual loading if a crane is not available.Very good fuel economy due to its efficient engine.Good fuel efficiency ensures it should be able to get what it needs to get done on one tank. Overall the TH357 should be brought to where it's needed by trailer and left there until the job is done. Suspension and tires also can't be changed limiting use around icy roads.

The lack of any form of snorkel severely handicaps the TH357 as it may not even be able to get to where it's needed due to even somewhat shallow water.

The forklift function is somewhat clumsy to use at first but can be forgiving with practice, however cargo cannot be secured to the forks. The TH357 is primarily intended to be used for placing cargo on raised and covered platforms on the Yukon maps. It is also vulnerable to drowning, having no snorkel and a low air intake. This can result in the vehicle seemingly steering itself in random directions causing the forks to hit obstacles stopping it. Its suspension is extremely stiff and causes the vehicle to shake erratically even in the most forgiving on uneven terrain. Though its tires are very large and do help to some extent in mud, the vehicles poor suspension and low top speed make it sub par for off-road driving in deep mud.

Though having permanent AWD, Diff Lock, and 4 wheel steering would be very helpful on a true scout, the value is lost due to other severe limitations that cripple this vehicles performance.
SPINTIRES CONTROLS PORTABLE
The TH357 is an extremely unique vehicle that despite being classified in the scout class, is actually designed for manual loading of cargo, in particular for loading the Portable Cabin in the Residential Zones of Yukon region.
